Thilo Hatzius, geboren 1943 in Erfurt. Studium der Landwirtschaft, Volkswirtschaft und Agrarökonomie in Göttingen, Berkeley und Bonn. Lebt in Heidelberg und arbeitet als Freier Gutachter für verschiedene Organisationen der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit. Seit den siebziger Jahren Erfahrungen bei der Durchführung und Beratung von Projekten in Lateinamerika, Afrika, Asien und Osteuropa. 2004-2007 als Berater des Ministeriums für Bewässerung, Wasser und Umwelt in Afghanistan tätig. Seit 2010 Arbeit an einem Roman über die Afghanistanerfahrung

Lives in Heidelberg and is a freelance consultant for various organisations of development cooperation. Since the seventies, extensive consulting experience in implementing projects in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. 2004-2007 as advisor to the Ministry of Irrigation, Water Resources and Environment active in Afghanistan. Since 2010 engaged in writing a novel on the Afghanistan experience.
